Irish Tenor Michael Daly has recorded nine albums since 2006. On his second album, Bravelove, Michael collected powerful and uplifting songs such as “Hallelujah” and “The Impossible Dream” to inspire and empower. On this album, Michael also recorded “Love Story” to show a softer, romantic side. Many have heard the song as it’s been performed by Andy Williams and Tony Bennett, but Michael’s astounding voice allows you to hear the song like it’s never been sung before.

The music by Francis Lai played on its own as the theme to the 1970 film of the same name. After the first set of lyrics were rejected by the studio, Carl Sigman wrote the now famous words, “With her first hello she gave new meaning to this empty world of mine. There’d never be another love, another time. She came into my life and made the living fine. She fills my heart” which went to number one on the Easy Listening Charts in 1971.

A father of four by his wife, Audrey, it is no wonder Irish Tenor Michael Daly wanted to record this love song for his collection. Who wouldn’t want to hear the love of their life singing the words, “How long does it last? Can love be measured by the hours in a day? I have no answers now but this much I can say. I know I’ll need her till the stars all burn away and she’ll be there” for the world to experience how much your spouse loves you?
